Your own posts and the current top videos are re-checked every 15 minutes, and every brand is re-scanned every 6 hours. The app refreshes the numbers by itself while it's open.

The app reads the view count of promotions from every industry, big brands and small businesses, straight from Instagram, TikTok and Facebook. "Today", "This week", "This month" and "This year" rank videos by the views they gained in that time. "Rising" shows the biggest jumps in the last day compared with the views a video already had.

It counts brands' own posts (from campaign films to CGI product videos) and influencer posts that promote something: #ad or paid partnerships, reviews, hauls, GRWMs, unboxings, discount codes and shop links. The tags on each video show its style, and "What's working" shows which styles are getting the views. The Caris tab compares your own posts.
